Health, Safety, and the Environment
At all levels, STARCON is committed to providing a safe working environment which is apparent by their industry low EMR of 0.61 for 2007. They will continue to work towards improving this by conducting both scheduled & random field safety audits. STARCON’s goal is to be recognized as the safest contactor in the industry with zero incidents.
STARCON provides safety and health audits using leading safety indicators, I.E., BBS, SLA, and JSA grading and tracking. Their safety Department ensures that the company is up-to-date on all federal and state regulations, as well as being in full compliance with all of their clients’ safety requirements.
STARCON is the leader in the industry regarding safety programs, processes and trained professionals. STARCON’s Use of ISNetworld
Since 2002, STARCON has utilized ISNetworld to report their health and safety information.
STARCON currently has six Owner Clients that are requiring their written health and safety programs to be submitted. The ISNetworld RAVS Team reviewed their documents to ensure their safety programs are meeting OSHA and Owner Client standards. After the review, the reviewers provided useful feedback on ways STARCON can improve their safety programs. STARCON has now achieved a 100% compliance grade for all 30 written safety programs. In addition to submitting their written safety programs, they also submitted training rosters through the ISNetworld T-RAVS process to verify the training their employees have completed.
