The Position: The Associate Software Developer - DevSupport position is responsible for supporting the ISNetworld application. As a member of ISN’s Product team, you will be exposed to managing tickets, using SQL to identify root causes of issues and troubleshoot as needed.

Who should apply?

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Knowledge of T-SQL; writing queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Working knowledge of web development (ASP.NET web forms, MVC, C# or VB.NET a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, indexes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for customer service
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving ability

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle service requests from internal and external users in an efficient and timely manner
  • Create queries on large data sets
  • Reverse engineer existing SQL code, data flow and logic
  • Import and export data on Production databases
  • Troubleshoot the application to identify root causes of system behavior
  • Analyze query performance and identify improvement areas
  • Be able to work with development, QA, business teams and at times directly with customers
  • Strive to provide the best service to all customers in every situation

Job Location: 3232 McKinney Ave Ste 1500, Dallas, TX 75204.

  • Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
  • In-office attendance up to two times per week for the first 90 days of employment. 
  • After 90 days completion, you will have an option to work remotely with at least 1 in-person engagement required monthly (team collaboration day, ISN events, team events, performance reviews, etc.).
