ISN is seeking a Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager to lead our financial reporting process and oversee technical accounting matters. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, manage accounting policy development, and drive process improvements that support the company’s growth and compliance goals.

Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS, where applicable), including balance sheets, income statements, cash flows, and footnotes.
- Manage external reporting requirements and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant filings.
- Research and document conclusions on complex accounting topics and new standards, providing guidance to management and other stakeholders.
- Partner with external auditors to coordinate annual audits, prepare schedules, and ensure smooth completion of audit fieldwork.
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial reporting processes, policies, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to ensure data integrity and transparency in reporting.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and company-wide initiatives that strengthen reporting and compliance frameworks.
- Provide accounting expertise and insights that influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or other relevant certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with a focus on financial reporting and technical accounting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (IFRS experience a plus)
- Experience preparing full financial statements and footnote disclosures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and levels
- High attention to detail, organization, and accountability in managing multiple priorities
Preferred Experience
- Experience with SEC reporting, or exposure to public company financial statements
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Avalara, and Workiva or similar accounting/reporting systems
- Proven experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets

Onsite Requirements: Employees must be within a commutable distance to the office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings. Employees are required to be in-person during training and at least 3 days per week on an ongoing basis.
