This publication provides 2017 contractor health and safety performance data across all industries in Canada.

Contractors can use this publication to benchmark their company’s health and safety performance to that of their peers by Workers’ Compensation Industry Code and ISN Work Types for the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan.

The key performance indicators collected and presented for each industry include:

  • Total Recordable Frequency (TRF)
  • Lost Time Frequency (LTF)
  • Total Number of Fatalities
  • Fatality Rate per 100,000 Employees
  • Incident Severity (In Days)

  • Days Away, Restricted or Job Transfer Rate (DART)
